Eco credentials attract renewable energy firm to UBC Oldham

United Business Centres (UBC) plc announced today that Microgeneration Ltd, a renewable energy company, is the latest firm to take space at UBC Oldham, recently opened at Howarth Court in Oldham Broadway Business Park.
Microgeneration Ltd provides a range of renewable heat and power generation technologies.  The company’s aim is to take a lead role in the battle against climate change in the UK by pioneering products to replace fossil-fuelled systems with green energy systems which are carbon neutral, do not pollute and do not use up dwindling natural resources.

Sara Ghosley, Company Secretary for Microgeneration Ltd, said: "We decided on UBC for a number of reasons: their professional attitude; competitive price; quality of facility; and superb location. The key requirements were met by UBC, which included car parking and internet and telecoms facilities.  UBC’s eco credentials were also an added plus point for us; as a renewable energy company, the fact that the building itself has renewable energy installed in the form of solar panels on the roof supports our aim of championing alternatives to fossil-fuelled systems."

UBC North West Area Manager Jane Erasmus added: "We are delighted that Microgeneration Ltd have chosen the new UBC Oldham Business centre as their office. I know that they have found us to be very competitive on price and that they are benefiting hugely from access to our premier facilities."
